Artista de la plástica, nació en la ciudad de Manzanillo el 1º de Febrero de 1969.


Sus estudios artísticos los inicia en la Escuela Elemental de Artes Plásticas \"Carlos Enríquez\" de Manzanillo, continúa luego en la Escuela Profesional de Artes Plásticas \"El Alba\" de Holguín, para licenciarse más tarde en el Instituto Superior Pedagógico de su ciudad natal en la especialidad de Enseñanza Pedagógica y Educación de las Artes Plásticas; también recibió lecciones académicas en el taller del maestro holguinero Cosme Proenza.


Ha impartido talleres y conferencias en el Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA), de Ciudad de La Habana, ha sido jurado en concursos de diferentes provincias de Cuba, consultor y tutor en la Escuela Provincial de Artes Plásticas de Santiago de Cuba. En la actualidad es Presidente de la sección de Artes Plásticas de la Unión Nacional de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba (UNEAC), en la provincia Granma.
